AC Milan contact Ajax for €50m rated winger
AC Milan have contacted Ajax and have inquired information about David Neres. The Brazilian winger is one of the Rossoneri’s target for the summer.
The hugely talented players of Ajax are always in the sights of the most important European clubs. The Dutch club possesses some of the most promising youngster of the beautiful game and the Champions League challenge against Real Madrid has increased further increased their market value.
Among the gems of coach Erik ten Hag’s team there is also David Neres, the 22-year-old Brazilian right winger. The former San Paolo starlet has become a key member of Ajax’s team despite his young age. With 14 goals and 13 assists in 32 league matches last season (the most goals and assists combined that year) Neres was Ajax’s most valuable player.
His good form is continuing even this season that’s why Europe’s biggest clubs are following him closely. According to Sportmediaset, AC Milan are interested in the player too. The Rossoneri have officially contacted Ajax to ask about his availability this summer. The player is deemed perfect for coach Gattuso’s 4-3-3 formation.
Considering the disappointing performances of Suso lately, sporting director Leonardo is preparing for an upgrade for next season. Even if Suso remains the Rossoneri will certainly sign two high profile wingers if Champions League qualification is achieved. However, it must be said that Ajax has started to charge high fees lately for its stars and Neres won’t be an exception.
Until the end of the season AC Milan will continue to monitor the progress of David Neres and also other transfer targets for the wing like Federico Chiesa, Gerard Deulofeu, Everton Soares and Steven Bergwijn. For now, AC Milan are reportedly willing to pay 50 million to sign the Brazilian.
